What I Learned In September

Saturday, September 28, 2013

I'm linking up with Chatting at the Sky today to share what I learned in September, and now that I actually sit down and think about it, I realize it's more than I thought.

1. The more I stress out over a messy home, the less comfortable I actually feel in my own home. When I sit down, relax and like my husband says, "know that it will eventually get done," I am able to enjoy my home life so much more; time with the kids, time to drink my coffee (there's always coffee).

2. Praising the positive instead of pointing out the negative will always be a more powerful solution.

3. I'm liking my new leadership role at work and finding out that I'm actually really good at it. Educational leadership is starting to look like a possibility.

4. It turns out, actually trying out those pins on the "my style" board on Pinterest makes my closet and lack of new clothes way more fresh and exciting.

What have you learned in September?
